L'Amade
Alongside the General Assembly of the United Nations, the stakeholders of US philanthropy met in late September to discuss their shared experiences, impart innovative solutions, weave new partnerships, or develop their networks.
AMADE’s secretary general was therefore invited to take part in the work by the Michigan Institute of Technology Solve – MIT, Concordia, and the Segal Family Foundation, a leading philanthropic foundation in the United States.
Opportunities for cooperation were identified with a view to promoting via AMADE the expansion into French-speaking Africa of initiatives in favour of childhood, which have already demonstrated their worth in English-speaking Africa.
Concordia is a platform that brings together stakeholders from the private sector, foundations, and political decision-makers dedicated to the establishment of strategic partnerships to foster social impact.
