Banque Richelieu Monaco is raising €110,000 for AMADE's new program: "A civil status for all", following the launch of the first fundraising campaign for its range of solidarity financial products, #PhoenixSolidarity.
Today, 237 million children under the age of 5 do not have a birth certificate and 166 million are not registered in the civil registry. These so-called “invisible” children are deprived of all access to health, education and basic social services. It is estimated that 5 million children die before the age of 5, how many are there in reality?
AMADE aims, in 2022, thanks to the support of Banque Richelieu Monaco and its donors, to support two major initiatives on the African continent. A first one in the Democratic Republic of Congo which will concern registration at birth of 230,000 children and a second one in Burkina Faso around the regularization of 60,000 teenagers who, for lack of a birth certificate, cannot currently enter secondary school, after primary cycle.
