Very positive assessment for the gala evening "Friends of Lebanon love AMADE"

Under the Patronage of S.A.R. The Princess of Hanover, on April 20th, there was a charity fundraiser for children in one of the most prestigious places in the Principality, the Belle Epoque Room of the Hotel Hermitage Monte-Carlo.

In the presence of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco (for the cocktail), Mr. Jacques Boisson, Secretary of State and member of the Board of Directors of AMADE, Mr. Stéphane Valeri, President of the National Council, Mr. Didier Deschamps, sponsor of the association The Friends of Lebanon, Mr. Henry Wazne, Director General of SOFIBANQUE, main partner of the evening, Mr. Jérôme Froissart, Secretary General of AMADE and Mrs. Bouran Hallani , Founding President of the association Les Amis du Liban, many were the guests who wished, alongside the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, to join this festive event under the sign of solidarity and sharing.

This evening, organized thanks to the volunteer support of the Monaco event organization GEO, Guy Manoukian performed for an intimate concert the famous Lebanese pianist and composer of Armenian origin, for the greatest pleasure of the Lebanese community gathered on this occasion. This evening was also followed by a parade of the brand Little Elf, the oriental dancers of the company Scarabeo Palace, an artistic gymnastic animation choreographed around the theme of tennis, before closing on the dance floor specially installed for the occasion, punctuated by the famous DJ Jeanne.

A raffle and an auction with a dozen exceptional prizes were also organized to benefit the cause for which the two associations had wished to join forces, namely access to secondary education for girls . Among the lots presented for sale, the name of the new rose variety created by the nurseryman Meilland, was snapped for the sum of 57 000 €.

The 2018 World Cup Pennant of the France-Croatia Final as well as the official jersey of the French Football Team, 2018 World Champion, signed by all the players of the team as well as by the coach Didier Deschamps during the evening, they left for an amount of 30 000 €.

Thanks to the generosity of the people present and the partners, it was nearly 150.000 € that could be mobilized during this evening. These funds will allow AMADE to continue its project of building colleges in Niger to promote access to secondary school girls. The project in Lebanon will be visited at the end of May on the occasion of a joint mission in the field and will specifically target the schooling of vulnerable young Lebanese girls as well as refugees.
