AMADE brought together members of its ecosystem—partner associations and social entrepreneurs, corporate sponsors, foundations, and philanthropists—for its 2026 Partner Conference, organized around the theme:
“From Vision to Impact: Supporting Local Partners to Become Champions of Child Protection.”
The day was marked by rich and engaged discussions, bringing together a diverse range of stakeholders united by a common goal: to sustainably strengthen the impact of actions supporting the most vulnerable children.
Throughout the event, discussions highlighted the central role of partners on the ground, who serve as true drivers of transformation at the heart of communities. Presentations emphasized the importance of comprehensive support—technical, financial, and strategic—to enable high-potential initiatives to develop, consolidate, and amplify their impact.
Special attention was given to the “Civil Registration for All” program, through several testimonials from stakeholders working on the ground.
• Adrien Carré, from La Voix de l’Enfant, discussed the initiatives undertaken in North Kivu to improve children’s access to civil registration, highlighting the fundamental issues related to the legal recognition and protection of the most vulnerable.
• Matumaini Kavira, from La LIDE, provided concrete insights into the project’s implementation at the local level, sharing on-the-ground realities and the progress made for the benefit of children and communities.
• Andrew Carl Heinrich, from Columbia University, emphasized the essential importance of civil registration as the foundation of human rights, highlighting its crucial role in access to education, health care, and protection.
These presentations provided context for the broader challenges and the concrete solutions implemented, illustrating the program’s impact in ensuring that every child has a legal status and recognized rights.
The roundtable discussions were then the highlights of the day. The first, focused on technical assistance, brought together:
• Baselisse Ndayisaba (FVS Amis des Enfants),
• Larissa Byll (3hi Partners), and
• Pascal Croiset,
who shared their experiences on the strategies for fostering strong and sustainable local actors and turning them into champions of child protection.
The second roundtable, dedicated to impact philanthropy, featured:
• Virginie Cotta (SBM),
• Stephanie Koopmann (The Light Foundation),
• Renaud Borgella (Suisscourtage) and Eric Musumeci (MPM & Partner), highlighting the crucial role of financial partners in supporting high-impact projects.
The conference also featured inspiring testimonials that provided concrete examples of the impact of AMADE’s programs on the ground. Through the “One Child, One Talent” and “Dignity for Women” initiatives, these presentations highlighted transformed lives, redefined paths, and new prospects for the future. They demonstrate the partners’ ability to implement innovative solutions rooted in local realities and capable of bringing about lasting change.
In a context where challenges related to child protection remain significant, this event reaffirmed the need for collective, coordinated, and long-term action. It builds on AMADE’s ongoing commitment to identifying, guiding, and supporting high-potential partners, with the aim of helping them evolve into key actors in child protection.
Through this conference, AMADE thus reaffirms its commitment to bringing together a dedicated ecosystem around a shared goal: fostering the emergence of local actors who can deliver concrete, innovative, and sustainable solutions for every child.
Because every child matters.
